Ramón Valdés Castillo ( Mexico City, September 2, 1923 - Mexico City, August 9, 1988 ) was a Mexican actor and comedian . The origin of his career dates back to the Golden Age of Mexican cinema , next to his brothers Germán Valdés Tin Tan, Manuel " El Loco" Valdés and Antonio Castillo Valdes . He became famous for his roles in the TV series El Chavo del Ocho , playing the role of Don Ramon, besides also appear sporadically in the series The Red Grasshopper and Chespirito.

Performances in different movies 

Valdes appeared in over 50 films , next to his brother Tin Tan ( most times ), Pedro Infante and Cantinflas , among others. The forties and fifties represented the Golden Age of Mexican cinema , a period of splendor in the cinema of that country which, however , did not benefit much Valdes .
